Blockhead is a rather basic 4-button character (technically six with being used for evasion and for ultimate attack inputs) that's meant to be an aggressive high-risk, high-reward attacker. Most of Blockhead's moves don't cause knockdown and are OTG, giving him some good combo potential at the cost of leaving him little to no room for error. The select moves that do cause knockdown are mostly soft, which his opponents can easily tech out of, possibly spoiling his combo in the process. Not helping matters is the fact that a majority of Blockhead's specials and supers have significant lag time, which if improperly timed could leave him wide open to a potential beating, or worse, wasting a power stock. Fortunately for Blockhead, he has an effective counter that can give him some space by pushing would-be attackers away, and is even able to break out of a few super moves. In order for Blockhead to really dish out some damage, he has to keep his opponents under pressure and not let up his assault for as long as possible. If this can be managed, Blockhead can become an agile menace to be reckoned with.
